See Introduction

Peter Säuberli, born 1930 in Switzerland, is painter, gold smith, poet and musician throughout his long life. Foremost a gold smith, his paintings and style are intrinsically linked to his work with metals.  All through his life he is in search of the perfekt form and has never bent to commercial pressure or flimsy fashions. "Tu nie etwas auch", his motto, that can be translated as "Never do something as well" came from the Dutch 19th century art historian, Cornelius Hofstede de Groot, who happens to be a distant relative of his. Peter has never betrayed his quest for independence which can be seen in his paintings and even more so, in his jewellery, which however, at this time is not up for sale.
